An automated DTP layer for strategic writing.
For BR-ND People, we built Publisher: an internal publishing tool that turns Notion pages, Markdown, and AI-assisted drafts into polished, on-brand A5 whitepapers.
BR-ND People creates sharp thinking around brand, culture, employer branding, and organisational change. The ideas were already there. The friction was the last mile: getting writing out of Notion and into something designed, consistent, and ready to send.
Publisher closes that gap. Strategic narrative in. BR-ND People asset out.
The constraint
Teams are writing more with AI, but the output often arrives as loose Markdown: useful, fast, and completely detached from the brand
Publishing should not become another project.
For BR-ND People, the challenge was to keep that speed while bringing the final artifact back into their identity.
The tool had to fit the way BR-ND People already works: fast, editorial, collaborative, and light on unnecessary process.

Solution
From draft to document
Publisher starts from a Notion page, pasted Markdown, uploaded text file, or blank draft. The content is converted into a structured editor, ready for review and refinement.
A brand system that publishes
The whitepaper template carries the BR-ND People identity: typography, cover layouts, logo assets, color swatches, footers, and EN/NL ending copy. The team can adjust the document without breaking the brand.
A workflow built for real use
Local recovery protects work in progress. Shared autosave keeps team drafts available when needed. Roles keep access clear across viewers, editors, and admins.
Export with a trail
When a shared document is exported, Publisher records the document state, brand settings, template version, timestamp, and exporter. The PDF is not just downloaded; the version behind it is traceable.
